A Rather Nosy Fanfare was commissioned by Don Miller and the University of Missouri-Rolla Bands. After a terrific experience working together to create this piece, Don and I proceeded to work together on three more works that would all serve to create a rather unusual symphony, with this short piece serving as the opening movement.
